Job Description

Daily Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Analyze the SCDMV Phoenix II, web service, and batch business applications.

  2. Take the lead in analyzing and troubleshooting assigned system problems.

  3. Propose solutions.

  4. Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users, ensuring that solutions meet requirements.

  5. Provide daily and weekly status updates to the Development Manager.


 

Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance)


  1. 8+ years of development experience with Micro Focus Visual COBOL on Windows Server 2019/2022, including batch processing and IIS-based applications.

  2. 4+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2019/2022, including strong debugging skills.

  3. 4+ years of application programming experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL).
