The Clinical Pharmacist willhave a key role in supporting delivery of the new Network Contract DES Servicespecifications. The new Structured Medications Review and Optimisationrequirements will include tackling over-medication of patients, includinginappropriate use of antibiotics, withdrawing medicines no longer neededthrough NHS-led programmes such as low priority prescribing and medicinesoptimisation more widely.
