Job Description

A leading organisation within the chemical manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly capable Inventory Manager to take ownership of inventory operations across multiple stores, including maintenance spares, packaging materials, and PPE. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, optimise inventory performance, and play a strategic role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and cost control.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of maintenance stores, packaging material stores, and PPE inventory.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes, stock takes, variance investigations, and reporting.

  • Manage stock planning, forecasting, reorder levels, and inventory optimisation to minimise shortages and excess stock.
