Responsible for performing a variety of interpretation, translation, and medical escort services to assist non‑English speaking Arab patients receiving care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a variety of interpretation and translation services to assist non‑English speaking Arab patients.


• Relay instructions and other medical information accurately to patients and their families, and make sure they understand.


• Assist non‑English speaking patients with cross‑cultural orientation to understand the nuances of medical care systems.


• Provide verbal and written communication between health care providers, clinical staff, and patients/visitors.


• Articulate and document information accurately to convey patients’ questions and concerns and ensure messages are consistent with risk management directives.
