**Description:**

Provides technical support in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to clients of MercyOne Outpatient Pharmacies, including processing prescriptions, preparation and delivery of medications, review of charts for specific information/audits, stocking and ordering of drugs and other products. Assists patients and clients in ordering and picking up their prescription orders. Performs technical work and tasks allowable by Iowa law for a Pharmacy Intern under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**

+ Prepares patient drug orders.

+ Accepts, checks in, and prepares drug orders from wholesalers

+ Reviews will-call prescriptions for duplicate bags for the same patient and for return-to-stock dates.

+ Credits to the patient and restock usable medications returned to the pharmacy.
