X1 Wind is a disruptive floating wind technology developer. Based in Barcelona, Spain, the firm’s mission is to provide highly scalable solutions which deliver clean, affordable energy while reducing carbon emissions across the globe. The company is currently in the pre-commercial phase of its technology development and has managed to position itself as one of the front runners of the floating offshore wind sector, having been able to deploy and test the first fully functional TLP floating wind platform in the world (in late 2022), under the PivotBuoy project (X30).
