Responsibilities

:

  • Conduct routine inspections and fault-finding on components in plant

  • Install control systems, instruments, control valves and all other instruments

  • Conduct planned maintenance and repairs

  • Repair/overhaul components

  • Maintain a clean workplace/good housekeeping

  • Complete daily registers and job cards

  • Conduct applicable spares inventory weekly and report

  • Report safety incidents/accidents

  • Comply with safety, health, security and environmental standards

  • Do pre- and post-assessments of equipment sent for repairs

  • Provide technical assistance and direction to other functional groups to drive quality improvements and enhance the maintenance function

  • Liaise with planned maintenance officers to ensure inspection and audit findings are scheduled for remediation
