Overview


Under the direction of the Laboratory and Simulation Manager, the Instructor of Nursing/Simulation Educator will provide education, clinical, and technical expertise in skills and simulation-based activities in the nursing labs. The Educator will assist with curriculum changes in the instructional labs, assist with proposals for grants, and assist in the orientation of adjunct faculty to equipment used during instructional labs, and participate in overall laboratory operations.


Responsibilities


+ Participate in a monthly meeting, even if scheduled on a different day that the usually scheduled work day

+ Set up and teach simulation and skills lab sessions

+ Ensure that simulation experiences meet course and program outcomes
