Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspects final product for defects and, if approved, moves it through the packaging machine.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Remove defective pieces from line and bring to repair station
• Log and report defects accordingly
• Send finished piece through the packaging machine
• Maintain cleanliness in work area
• Perform related duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of mattress construction and components (foam, coils, ticking, labels, foundations, etc.)
• Ability to identify cosmetic and functional defects
• Understanding of quality standards and acceptable tolerances
