**Description**

The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease is seeking one full-time physician-scientist academic faculty members at the Assistant Professor level to develop an independent infectious diseases research program. Protected time for research and a start-up package appropriate to the research career development of the successful candidate will be provided.

The successful candidate will also have opportunities to join established investigative teams working on clinical, epidemiological, or translational research funded through grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, or the New York State Department of Health.
