Job Purpose

The role of the Industrial Mechanic II position requires high level mechanical skills to inspect, install, repair and adjust all manufacturing equipment within the facility. It also requires advanced knowledge in fluid power and pneumatic equipment. This includes simple to complex hydraulic systems (w/ some servo components), plant utilities such as high volume water pumps and air compressors. The position also requires high level communication and problem solving skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a good working relationship with Operating personnel in order to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

• Analytically troubleshoot and resolve mechanical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications.

• Routinely check the performance of mechanical equipment.

• Properly maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and processing Work Orders.
