Position Summary:

As a member of the production team, the primary responsibility of this function is to coordinate and perform activities necessary to ensure quality and efficient make-ready, run and clean-up of imaging equipment.  In addition to working in a team environment with little supervision, the technical assistant must cooperate and work with others, share information, take the initiative to improve the process and solve the problem.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all press operations during make-ready, run and clean-up as work process requires, i.e.: - open paper, operate splicers, tape on rolls, web press, hook up and clean ink pumps, monitor ink viscosity, mount and set plates.
