Conducts routine inspections of kitchen areas, restaurants, bars, receiving areas, food storage facilities, bottling room, employee facilities, and other HACCP-covered areas, conducts food safety monitoring and compliance checks, and monitors compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, sanitation, and allergen management.
Maintains, reviews, organizes, and verifies HACCP records, monitors completion and accuracy of HACCP monitoring, and prepares hygiene-related reports, summaries, presentations, and documentation.
Assists in the implementation of food, environmental, and other microbiological sampling programs, conducts daily bottled water sample collection, investigates foreign object complaints, and monitors food deliveries and receiving activities to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate of a degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Technology, or any related field is an asset.
