Job Description Job Description We are a MEP Engineering firm located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and currently seeking a HVAC Engineer to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment. Our HVAC Engineers are responsible for designing building HVAC systems and producing HVAC construction documentation for commercial and institutional projects, with an emphasis on educational facilities. Job Functions and Primary Responsibilities As an HVAC Engineer you will be responsible for: Design of HVAC Systems to include: * Heat Loss/Heat Gain calculations. * Ductwork design and distribution. * Hot water and chilled water piping design and distribution. * Building automation systems knowledge. * Interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define and design to meet customer requirements. * Candidates need to be highly self-directed and capable of running multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction.
