Accounts for work daily using the P.O.M. computerized system. Maintain and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment, as well as, perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in such a manner as to keep equipment failure to a minimum.
Work from blueprints, design specifications, and manufacture instruction to install compressors, motors, condensers, thermostats, fans, ducts, pipes, and other mechanical, electrical, and electronic components into place.
Perform varied and complex tasks known as “troubleshooting”, which requires the technician to examine and, if necessary, take apart a unit when a breakdown occurs to find the source of the problem. After the source is identified, conduct the necessary repairs, and then test the unit for proper operation.
