Job Description
This role focuses on supervision and guidance for staff who are providing direct care for youth in foster care, who may have challenging behaviors. At times, they may need to physically intervene if needed to provide safety.
Examples of Duties:
• Supervision and treatment group facilitation.
• Develops and implements unit work plans.
• Develops and manages treatment groups.
• Provides input into program policies, goals, and procedures.
• Ensures quality of reports, assessments, and service delivery activities.
• Determines case priorities, recommends training needs, and evaluates staff performance.
• May monitor contract services, provide direct services and/or provide social work services.
• Community Organization.
• Develops support and service partnerships and expanded community options for clients and families in cooperation with community groups.
• Provides consultation, technical assistance, and training to the community.
