HSE Coordinator

Bird Construction is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support upcoming projects. The role reports to the HSE Manager, Northern Alberta Buildings, and supports the project team in safe production throughout the lifecycle of a project. This position is based on project sites in Edmonton, AB.

What You Will Be Working On

• Incident management – initiate notifications and ensure incidents/accidents are reported, investigated, and documented
• Conduct orientations for new workers and visitors, and provide training to Bird employees
• Validate equipment, processes, and worker competency; inspect on‑site safety equipment
• Conduct frequent site inspections, addressing HSE issues and completing documentation
• Develop reports, research HSE information, create site‑specific safe work procedures, and provide guidance
