Housing Support Manager (Kaitaia)

Support our customers to achieve housing and social stability as part of a diverse and high‑performing team. The role is based in the Kaitaia office and is a fixed‑term secondment of 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with a portfolio of customers and their whānau to build enriching and enduring relationships.
  • Support customers with low and medium needs and manage disruptive behaviour situations.
  • Hold difficult and courageous conversations with customers and stakeholders when required.
  • Visit customers at their Kāinga Ora homes and attend meetings with key stakeholders to ensure tailored support remains in place.
  • Travel long distances within the region as needed.
  • Work with tenants on rent arrears and debt collection/recovery.
