The Houseman to keep areas under Housekeeping in clean and orderly condition. He performs heavy cleaning duties, such as mopping and scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets and rugs, changing curtains, cleaning air‑condition ventilation grilles and ceiling, washing walls and cleaning windows, pushing linen and towels to the floors. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying Housekeeping Department of need for repairs.

• Maintain cleanliness of the areas under Housekeeping.
• Carry out assigned tasks by Guest Room Team Leader and ensure that job is carried out as instructed.
• Inform Guest Room Team Leader of any related job deficiencies and ensure that problems are rectified before the end of the shift.
