Overview

A Housman is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of clean and organized linen across all operational areas supporting the smooth functioning of housekeeping or hospitality services. The role helps maintain hygiene standards and operational efficiency by transporting, distributing and collecting linens in a timely and systematic manner.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies, ensuring that all housekeeping closets and storage areas are well-organized and fully stocked with essential items such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
• Manage the inventory of linens, tracking usage and ensuring an adequate supply is available for guest rooms and common areas while monitoring for loss or damage.
• Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry facility, ensuring proper separation and handling of linens to maintain quality and prevent damage.
