JOB SUMMARY: 

The Hospitalist provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult and/or pediatric patients within the hospital. This role includes daily rounding on assigned patients, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring smooth transitions from admission to discharge. The Hospitalist may also assume admitting responsibilities, collaborating with referring providers and other hospital services to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment are essential for success in this role. 12-hour shifts (7A–7P or 7P–7A) with dedicated admitter shift 9a-9p.
