Position: EMT - Hospital Medical Assistant

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Start Date: 7/13

Schedule: 3x12 Days

Duration : 13 weeks

Requirements:

· 2+ years experience in trauma level 1

· EMT certification

· BLS (AHA)

The Emergency Department Hospital Medical Assistant (HMA) will be responsible for responding to all air rescue transport calls. EMS will provide an ambulance that will be assigned to the Hospital Center to respond to all incoming and outgoing helicopter transports. The HMA will be dispatched by the Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) or the Base Physician.
