About the opportunity

Hospice in the Weald is looking for friendly and organised volunteers to support our patients and families who are cared for by the Hospice Outreach Service community team.

Our Home Support Volunteer role is primarily for befriending but may also include some light practical help, which is discussed and agreed prior to any volunteer being allocated to a patient or to support those who care for them.

You will be working as part of the Hospice Outreach team under the Benefit Support Coordinator, helping to provide valuable support to patients and families in their own homes.
