HGV Technician

Location: Derby
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days (37 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £20.71 per hour

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join the team in Derby on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of Heavy and Light Commercial Vehicles and associated equipment including sweepers and RCVs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Undertake welding and fabrication work where required
• Work on a range of fleet vehicles including Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and sweepers
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with health and safety requirements
