This position is for an out of hours ADR standby / reserve driver. The HGV/ADR Driver is required to operate any Company vehicle for which they are suitably qualified to undertake. All operation of Company vehicles must be undertaken in a safe manner and fully compliant with all relevant law and legislation. In addition, the driver will undertake duties associated with that of an operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate Company vehicles including ADR HGV class 1 & 2 vehicles or any other vehicle for which the HGV driver is suitably qualified. Ensure all vehicle checks are completed prior to commencing any works, comply with tachograph regulations and report in the required manner. Report any vehicle defects to supervision as soon as identified and complete vehicle defect reports. Complete required training such as UKPIA, PDP and any required safety qualifications.
