JOB SUMMARY:

The Ohio CAT Service Technician will safely troubleshoot and repair general heavy equipment engines, drive-train components, electrical and hydraulic systems, and standard machine repair. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, maintaining, overhauling, and rebuilding engines and heavy equipment components, as well as performing welding tasks .

COMPETENCIES:

+ General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment are required; welding capabilities (MIG and Arc) and strong knowledge of DC electrical and machine/electronic systems are crucial. Must demonstrate the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete manufacturers’ updates.
