This is a hands‑on role working across both the workshop and in the field in the construction industry, supporting customers and keeping equipment running with minimal downtime. You’ll be out on‑site responding to breakdowns as well as carrying out servicing and repairs in the workshop when required.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy equipment and machinery
- Responding to breakdowns and providing on‑site support
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and workshop repairs
- Fault finding across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools
- Communicating with customers, workshop, and parts team to keep jobs moving
- Completing job reports, photos, and paperwork accurately and on time
