Terra Industrial New Zealand Limited is offering a field service position covering the West Coast region. The role provides a competitive hourly rate with annual review, overtime, and a range of additional benefits. Workdays are Monday to Friday, with optional overtime or flexible arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the West Coast region using a field service vehicle.
• Fault find, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, perform maintenance and repair of Caterpillar equipment.
• Plan daily schedule to maximise efficiency and manage workload.
• Complete all associated admin and paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Experienced heavy diesel mechanic with knowledge of Caterpillar machinery.
• Self‑starting, energetic and able to work independently.
• International candidates with recent experience in a Resident Technician role at a Caterpillar dealership may be considered.
