Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Support Worker to join the team at HMP Wymott, a Category C male prison located in Leyland. The prison has a capacity of around 1,200 and a varied and complex population.

Responsibilities

• Act as adjunct to emergency response, working alongside nurses overnight.
• Ensure continuity of care for all patients and deliver outstanding care at all times.
• Carry out bloods, observations, ECGs, and other clinical assessments.
• Deliver personalised, non-judgemental care based on patient feedback.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic clinical care.

Working Hours & Salary

Full-time role, night shifts (20:45 - 07:45) on a 2-week rota: Week 1 – 4 nights, Week 2 – 3 nights.

Annual salary: £25557 - £29723.
