Healthcare Science Assistant - Equipment Librarian

Main duties of the job

• Coordinate device movements and manage the local equipment library to ensure medical equipment is fit for service to the right patient at the right place and location.
• Prioritise and organise daily work under supervision and agreed protocols.
• Undertake planned maintenance on medical devices and perform repairs when competent.
• Contribute to development and delivery of team and service objectives.
• Assist others in delivering technical solutions involving medical equipment.
• Work independently within guidelines and refer to supervisory management when appropriate.
