Scope of Job
Participates in the planning, performance, and follow-up of routine healthcare related audits and consulting engagements for the UTRGV healthcare enterprise to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and efficiency of operations.

Description of Duties

+ Participates in the planning and fieldwork of internal healthcare audits and conducts research to obtain background information.

+ Identifies risk and related controls, including potential healthcare fraud risks during planning and fieldwork.

+ Develops strategies and recommendations to mitigate these risks and improve overall compliance.
