 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Health Care Assistant is responsible for assisting with the provision of individualised patient centred care while under the supervision, direction and guidance of a Registered Nurse as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The scope of practice for the HCA may evolve to align with the future needs of the health service. All developments will be supported with appropriate education and support.
