Head of Risk Malaysia and Thailand

At AIG, we reimagine the way we help customers manage risk. The Head of Risk Malaysia and Thailand will play a key role in driving the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring AIG Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines adhere to best risk practices and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management and execution of the risk management strategy and activities.
• Maintain an effective risk management framework to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report all material risks that AIG Malaysia is exposed to.
• Provide adequate support to the Board of Directors and the CEO in meeting their responsibilities with respect to the protection of policyholders and the management of the risk profile.
• Facilitate quarterly management Risk and Capital Committee meetings.
• Engage with the regulator on a needs basis.
