Head of Radiotherapy Dosimetry

Due to the imminent retirement of the postholder, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to recruit a new Head of Radiotherapy Dosimetry. The post holder will be specifically responsible for the radiation dosimetry and quality assurance programme of the radiotherapy treatment units, including external beam and brachytherapy units and sealed sources. They are also the line manager for the Head of Radiotherapy Engineering and responsible for ensuring radiotherapy equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The post holder acts as a Medical Physics Expert as defined by legislation (IRMER 2024).
