Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki is a cultural leader in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our purpose is to be a place for art and a catalyst for ideas, offering experiences that strengthen and enrich our communities. With a collection of more than 18,000 artworks and over 500,000 visitors each year, the Gallery is a centre of excellence in engaging people with art through exhibitions, programs, publishing, its membership and patron programs and community outreach. We are looking for an experienced and highly connected senior leader to head the Gallery’s Philanthropy and Business Development. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Director and senior leadership team to grow philanthropic giving, corporate partnerships, grants, membership, retail, events and other revenue-generating opportunities that support the Gallery’s strategic vision and long-term sustainability.
