A financial services company in Stellenbosch is looking for a Head of Finance/Financial Manager to join their team.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the management and analysis of all financial and actuarial activities related to the finance function, including IFRS17 as well as SAM and Embedded Value reporting.

Requirements:

•CA(SA)

•5-year post article experience in an Insurance industry experience preferable.

•At least 2-year’s financial management experience at a senior and/or executive level.

•Experience in regulatory reporting.

•Technical experience with IFRS 17.

•Experience in the compilation and submission of tax returns.

•Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Pastel Evolution).

•Understanding of SAM regulations.
