Position Overview

As Head of Direct Materials Global Procurement you will be accountable for the global procurement of Pharma Direct Materials spend for Roche. You will lead the Procurement Category capability, drive sourcing, contracting, technology and supplier strategies, and guide a team of Category Experts and Senior Experts to achieve excellence, resilience and cost effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide category domain leadership, thought‑leadership and strategic guidance on delivery capability topics.
• Oversee sourcing, contracting, technology and supplier strategies, ensuring alignment with functional objectives and business needs.
• Co‑create and execute the category vision and delivery prioritisation in line with the GP strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop a medium to large team of Senior Category Managers / Category Experts, prioritising flexibility, performance and talent development.
