About the role

As Head of Department, Science, you’ll lead a team of teachers delivering A-level Sciences to students around the world. You’ll set the academic standard, develop your team, oversee curriculum and assessment, and make sure every student gets a consistently excellent experience – whether they’re learning in group classes, small groups, or one‑to‑one.

You’ll report to the Principal and teach 12 of the 22 periods, with 10 release periods for leadership work.

What you’ll do

• Lead the Science department: meetings, learning walks, lesson observations, and professional development
• Coach and support teachers across all learning modes, including new Da Vinci (1:1) teachers
• Own curriculum quality and alignment with A-level specifications
