Head of Mortgage Capital Markets Responsibilities

Define and execute a funding strategy to scale Neo’s mortgage business. Develop and maintain a best‑execution playbook for mortgage sales to Neo’s investors. Allocate committed and funded mortgages to investors. Lead new lending programs, including strategy and product development. Develop and maintain mortgage policies covering capital management, hedging, and leverage. Design and lead the team responsible for daily funding, operational controls, and scalable structure. Allocate CMB and MBS among investors in accordance with approved policies. Manage eligibility criteria for investors and key mortgage programs governed by CMHC. Update all program guide changes to stakeholders. Track MBS and CMB spreads and adjust best‑execution as needed. Manage mortgage buy‑backs and develop liquidation strategies for maximum profit.
