I am currently recruiting for a Handyperson role within Accommodation Services, working across student accommodation sites.
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and repair maintenance defects
- Carry out planned maintenance (fire alarms, PAT testing, inspections)
- Conduct residence inspections and report damage
- Respond to maintenance emergencies
- Deliver general cleaning and maintenance duties
- Assist with deliveries and moving furniture/appliances
- Support open days and visitor tours
Essential Skills:
- Customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexible and adaptable
- Organised and able to prioritise workload
- Basic maintenance experience
