Job Summary

The Grounds Laborer is an SEIU Local 73 bargaining union position. The Grounds Laborer maintains the Medical Center grounds so as to provide a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. Reports to Real Estate Manager and takes direction from Real Estate Manager and Lead Grounds Mechanic. In the absence of Lead Grounds Mechanic, the Grounds Mechanic provides direction and instructions to Grounds Laborer(s) to ensure completion of assigned tasks. Perform and close-out grounds related PM’s within the required timeframe. Receives requests for service from Real Estate Manager, Lead Grounds Mechanic and Work Order system.
