The GIS Analyst will support the delivery of GIS services for a national mapping programme, including data processing, spatial analysis, and the preparation and maintenance of spatial datasets within a public-sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform GIS data processing, spatial analysis and mapping tasks

Prepare, update and maintain GIS datasets in line with programme requirements

Support integration of planning, zoning and other public-sector spatial data

Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks

Produce maps, reports and spatial outputs to required standards

Collaborate with local authority GIS teams and other stakeholders

Support delivery of defined work packages under direction of the Senior GIS Professional
