Position Summary Under the direction of the licensed staff member, the GI Technician gives non-licensed, technical bedside care as a member of the Team. The GI Tech also performs some daily housekeeping and transport duties in the GI Unit. Education High School Diploma Education - Preferred Experience 1 Year CNA - Preferred Previous acute care experience preferred. Previous endoscopy experience preferred. License & Certification Certification encouraged when eligible. Core Job Functions Patients are escorted from reception area and assistance provided with dressing and undressing.
