Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-hospital consultative services for both surgical and medical services, including orthopedic patients and complex geriatric cases requiring capacity and pre-operative frailty assessments.
• Oversee a dedicated rehabilitation team managing an 8-bed unit, ensuring high standards of care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Serve as the Lead Clinician for the Te Ara Tiaki Pakeke (Healthy Aging Team), driving initiatives and strategies that promote healthy aging within the community.
