The **UW Medical Center-Montlake – Adult Genetics Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Genetics Counselor 2** .

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

+ The individual in this position will compile, evaluate, and document the family history and genetic test results, and provide pre and post-test genetic counseling services to patients and/or families.
+ Under general supervision, assesses and counsels clients with complex genetics problems.
+ Participate in the development of educational programs; Instruct medical staff, students and others regarding program services. Provides general consultation to other health care staff including community physicians and other primary care providers.
