The post holder will be required to perform a range of ophthalmology appointments on patients referred to CHEC and provide supervision of the provision of adult community ophthalmology services delivered by healthcare professionals, working in accordance with CHEC treatment protocols and working practices.
Day to day, the post holder will deliver high quality clinical care to patients attending the community ophthalmology service in the following areas:General OphthalmologyGlaucoma servicesAMDLaser treatmentMinor eye OperationsHigh volume phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia if applicable
