General Maintenance Engineer Department: Maintenance

Compensation Starting wage: $23.50/hour (during probation period)

After successful completion of probation: $29.38/hour

Job Summary The General Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the hotel. This role also supports general building maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC systems, painting, carpentry, and preventative maintenance, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical equipment, appliances, and systems (e.g., lighting, motors, HVAC components, kitchen equipment).

Perform general maintenance in guest rooms and public areas, including minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and flooring.
