Job Summary

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join the Gastroenterology department at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. This is a 1-year fixed term Trust Registrar Doctor role.

The successful candidate will work within our on‑call rotas covering medical and gastroenterology wards.

The Gastroenterology Registrar along with 2 more registrar grade doctors is responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care within the Gastroenterology and General Medicine departments. This role includes inpatient and outpatient management of gastrointestinal (GI) and liver diseases, performing endoscopic procedures, participating in the on‑call rota, and supporting junior doctors and medical students in training.
