• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
  • 12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with night call coverage support

Clinical Details

• Cover 2 sites
• Required to perform ERCP, 7 to 10 procedures per week
• Daily patient volume: 27
• Call: 12-hour in-house GI hospitalist support with 12 hours of night off-site call
• EMR: Meditech, PK, Provation, eCW, Patient Keeper
• Support Staff: Mid-level support Monday to Friday, hospital support includes PAs, RNs, practice support includes CMAs and PA
• Typical Day:
  • 1st Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in
  • 2nd Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in (generally not as many scopes and patients to round on)
  • Evening pager at hotel
