We are looking for a full-time stud groom to join Cambridge Stud at our Karaka Farm.

Must have New Zealand residency or a current work visa.

Description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Handling foals, yearlings, broodmares and racehorses.

Feeding, rugging, mucking out and general horse husbandry.

Monitoring horse health and assisting with vet treatments.

Loading and unloading horses off trucks.

Hours are Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm, and every second weekend.

About you

Experience working on a stud or in a similar equine role would be advantageous.

Confident handling a range of horses, including foals, yearlings and racehorses.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Be available for weekend work.
